Smart Solvents was established in 2002 and is a solvents recycling company, we also blend and supply recycled and virgin solvents to a number of industries.

At present we recycle and blend G.P Thinners, as well as supplying Virgin Solvents to a broad base of industries namely:

• Drum reconditioners

DISTILLATION PROCESS

All dirty solvents collected are sorted and graded according to specific criteria. Solvents are mixed prior to the distillation process.

The distillate is identified and blended depending on end use.

The sludge (solids) remaining after each cycle is stored in 210lt drums or 1000lt flowbins. The 210lt drums 1000lt flowbins are collected by Enviroserv which is disposed of at Holfontein Treatment facility.
